About miss_hopeful

I am carless ... I have been this way for almost an entire year.  I don't know what to do.  I have the worse supervisor imaginable that she has made my work life a living hell.  So much so bad that I ended having a mental melt-down two months ago as a result of her emotionally abusive demeanor.  I have begged and pleaded with my HR department to please be re-assigned to another supervisor, however due to my supervisor's longevity with the organization, I have been assured that NOTHING IS GOING TO CHANGE.  Currently I am out of work on FMLA however I have since exhausted all of my paid time off and therefore no longer receive ANY income!  I  desperately need to work, but I am afraid of compromising my health and well being by returning to the evil pit of darkness and despair.  Since I do not have a vehicle I am stuck WITHOUT any options.  I am really financially hurting and I am not sure what I can do.  I desperately need a vehicle of my own but because of my credit (due to previous medical problems) I am unable to purchase a car of my own or have anyone co-sign a loan for me.  I even searched the internet for the "free" vehicle deal, but turns out to be a scam - as there are more drivers than "free car programs".   If I had a vehicle I know I would be in a better situation as I would have the mobility, but right now I feel I am at a standstill.  I am not asking for a brand new car, just a vehicle to get from point "A" to point "B".  I live in a far remote area that the busses run very infrequently.  Any ideas I could do would be greatly appreciated as I feel that I am at wit's end.
